John J. Greisch
Former President & Chief Executive Officer, Hill-Rom Holdings, Inc.
Mr. Greisch is Lead Independent Director of Carrier’s Board of Directors. Mr. Greisch served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Hill-Rom Holdings, Inc. (medical technology company) from 2010 until his retirement in 2018. Prior to Hill-Rom, Mr. Greisch was President, International Operations for Baxter International, Inc. (health care) from 2006 to 2009. While at Baxter, he also served as Chief Financial Officer from 2004 to 2006, as President of its bioscience division from 2003 to 2004, Vice President, Finance and Strategy (bioscience division) during 2003, and Vice President, Finance (renal division) from 2002 to 2003. Previously, Mr. Greisch was President and Chief Executive Officer for FleetPride Corporation (distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer replacement parts) from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, he held various positions at The Interlake Corporation (metal products) from 1986 to 1997, including serving as President of its Materials Handling Group, and at Price Waterhouse (professional accounting services) from 1978 to 1985. Mr. Greisch is a director and executive chairman of Catalent, Inc. and a director and non-executive chairman of Viant Medical. He previously served as a director of Cerner Corporation from 2019 to 2022, Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd. from 2017 to 2020, Hill-Rom from 2010 to 2018, and Actelion Ltd., from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, he currently serves as a senior advisor to TPG Capital and is on the Board of Directors for the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Mr. Greisch holds a bachelor’s degree from Miami University (Ohio) and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
