Carrier Air Purifiers Provide Healthier Indoor Air to Los Angeles Area Communities Impacted by Recent Wildfires

Donated Carrier Air Purifiers Deployed to Support Essential Workers and First Responders

After wildfires devastated the Los Angeles area, Carrier is helping to ensure a healthier recovery for essential workers, including first responders and their families, who bravely and tirelessly served residents following the disaster. Pallets stacked with donated Carrier indoor air purifiers – part of the company’s $2.5 million commitment – have been delivered and distributed to impacted communities. Thousands of units are already providing cleaner, healthier indoor air to local essential workers in Southern California – the everyday heroes who protect life, health and property.

Carrier collaborated with Good360, the country’s second largest charity, to distribute donated goods to organizations to support communities devastated by the wildfires in Los Angeles. This major initiative aligns with Carrier’s focus on communities where we live and work, relating to both humanitarian relief and healthy indoor environments advocacy.

"Shortly after Carrier announced its commitment to support affected communities with donated products, thousands of air purifiers were already on the ground, being distributed across Southern California," said Milena Oliveira, Chair of the Board, Carrier Foundation and Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, Carrier. "We are dedicated to ensuring a healthier recovery for those impacted by this historic and tragic event."
