Why Our Interns Love Working at Carrier

With nearly 100 interns working at Carrier facilities across the United States this summer, National Intern Day celebrated annually July 28, is a great time to recognize the hard work, time and effort that these college students bring to the organization.

Carrier offers internship opportunities in a variety of functional areas including finance, operations, communications & marketing, human resources, digital, engineering and more, welcoming interns from universities from coast to coast.

Residential engineering intern Sriya Bapatla worked on making thermistors, a type of sensor in air conditioning units and heat pumps, more efficient. Bapatla was grateful for the hands-on experiences working in a lab this summer.

“I love working at Carrier because of the mission of the company,” Bapatla said. “We aim to provide for the customer.”

Willem Einthoven, a supply chain intern, worked on inventory management and data analysis and provided recommendations for the warehouse.

“I have had a lot of hands-on experience working in the factory at Athens Transicold,” Einthoven said. “That experience has been invaluable.”
